Fabric Quality Inspector Job Description
l Approves all incoming fabric materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
l Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production teams.
l Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
l Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
l Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs when needed.
Quality Inspector Skills & Qualifications:
- Industry related diploma certificate level or above
- At least 05 years direct quality inspection or quality assurance experience.
- Analytical, logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to translate skills and knowledge to others
- Communication skills in English would be an added advantage
