Purpose: to have an overview in the knitting department and to be able to take the necessary decisions in function of the whole.

• - Supervises the orderproduction planning on a monthly, weekly and daily basis for the knitting department.

• - Strives for an optimal capacity utilisation of the machines

• - Questions what can be improved within the own department and sets up improvement projects in order to increase efficiency and minimise the 2nd choice.
• 寻找本部门可以改进的地方并制定改进计划以提高效率,减少次品率。
• - Maximum focus on minimizing 2nd choice by managing and coaching employees.
• 通过有效的员工管理和指导,最大限度的减少次品率。
• - Follows up on efficiency and takes action where necessary.

• - Oversees the quality control of new developments, samples and meters produced in the knitting department.
• 监督针织生产部门新品开发,样品和产品的质量控制。
• - Takes responsibility for the critical monitoring of stocks of raw materials and supplies.

• - Ensures close follow-up of contracts (raw materials and machines etc.).

• - Is responsible for the purchase of raw materials and various materials in consultation with management.

• - Follow-up of breakages and repairs.

• - Keeping new technologies and raw materials up to date as part of continuous innovation.

• - Is closely involved in the development of new products and provides technical advice on production possibilities.

• - Ensures an efficient division of labour.

• - Regulates replacements due to illness, leave of absence or other absences.

• - Closely monitors the training of workers.

• - Conducts performance appraisals on a regular basis with all departmental staff in order to provide the necessary training, comments, adjustments to departmental staff.

Knowledge:

• - Good knowledge of the production characteristics in the department (e.g. types of raw materials, machines, production flow, logistic flow, goods storage, ...)

• - General knowledge of finishing textiles.
• 综合了解纺织产品的后整理。
• - Very goog textile knowledge, both for the development of new products and the optimisation of existing products.

• - Very good knowledge of the different qualities.

• - Controls the current software, such as MS-Office, production registration software and the company's own software package.
